And we're back...

So, long time, no blog.  Sorry about that.  Life has been a bit hectic.  Since my last post (in September, oh my!), we have:  celebrated a FIRST birthday, sold a house, bought a house, renovated a house, moved into our (forever) home, travelled to North Carolina for Thanksgiving, travelled to Prattville and Lake Martin for Christmas, weathered nearly three months of illness, and said "bye-bye" to Ford's tonsils and adenoids, along with a host of other things I'm forgetting.  Ford has navigated the excitement and upheaval with his usual impressive attitude.

I am re-inspired to blog as I picked up an early 30th birthday present today -- a fancy new camera!  Ford moves too fast these days for the poor little point-and-shoot to keep up, so Mama upgraded.  I love my new toy already.  Here are a few photos I took tonight.  I'll follow this post with a month-by-month recap on what you've missed.  I know you've been waiting with bated breath (at least our moms have been.)
